Varsity: Central Valley 71, Pacheco 35
After dropping the WAC opener on Monday to the Grace Davis Spartans, the Hawks bounced back in a big way with a resounding home win over the Pacheco Panthers by the score of 77-35. The Hawks were led by Jace McLennon (14 pts), Parteek Sohal (11 pts), Xavier Manor (7 pts), Blake Silva (7 pts), and Sebastian Rodriguez (7 pts). The Hawks are now 1-1 in WAC play in what promises to be a tight race throughout the league season. CV will travel to Beyer High tonight to take on the Patriots.
Girls Soccer
Varsity: Central Valley 2, Livingston 0
The Hawks dropped a WAC contest to Beyer on Tuesday by the score of 2-1, but came back strong yesterday with a solid 2-0 win over the Livingston Wolves. The Lady Hawks are now 3-1 in WAC play which is good enough for 2nd place. CV will finish out a busy week tonight when they travel to Johansen to take on the Vikings.
Boy Soccer
Varsity: Central Valley 1, Livingston 1
The WAC Varsity Boys Soccer standings are in a deadlock after 4 league games. There are 5 teams that have mixed results against each other including several ties and 1 goal separated finishes. In what looks to be a tight race all season, the Hawks are right in the thick of things. CV finished with a 1-1 tie against the Livingston Wolves yesterday. The tie moves the Hawks to 2-0-2 in the WAC which puts them currently in 2nd place (Livingston 3-0-1, Johansen 2-0-2, Lathrop 2-1-1, Pacheco 1-0-2). The Hawks have a pivotal matchup this afternoon at River Bluff Park in Ceres as they host the Johansen Vikings.

Varsity: Beyer 59, Central Valley 36
The Hawks were defeated last night by the Beyer Patriots by the score of 59-36. The loss drops the Hawks to 0-2 in WAC play as CV will look to get into the win column next Tuesday when they travel to Livingston to take on the Wolves.
