Varsity: Central Valley 78, McNair (Stockton) 56
After a resurgent 24-25 season, the Hawks look to keep the positive momentum building as the 25-26 season begins. CV was ready on opening night as the Hawks rained in 14, 3 pointers on their way to a solid 78-56 win over the host McNair Eagles. CV’s offense was a balanced attack led by 4 double digit scorers: Parteek Sohal (17pts), David Guttierez (14pts), Silas Rodriguez (12pts), and Sebastian Gonzalez (11pts). The Hawks will look to keep the hot start going this Saturday when they compete at the NorCal Showcase at Atwater High. CV will take on the Golden Valley Cougars at 4:30pm.

Varsity: Bear Creek defeats Central Valley
The Hawks made the trip to Stockton last night in their season opener and were defeated by the host Bear Creek Bruins. It will be a short turnaround for CV as they will head to Merced tonight as all 3 levels take on the Golden Valley Cougars.

The hard-working Hawks baseball program completed their Fall Ball season in style with a very strong showing at the Santa Ana Tournament in Southern California. Your defending WAC Champion Hawks used the off-season to improve and this tournament is proof that CV will be ready for another title run this season. The gritty Hawks pulled off 3 wins in 4 tries, including some tight, clutch wins. The only loss by the Hawks was to Southern California powerhouse, Centennial High. CV was able to bring home wins against La Sierra, Grand Terrance, and JW North. This positive experience will prove vital for the Hawks as they have assembled a strong pre-season schedule for the Spring and CV will also travel back to Santa Ana for a Spring Break tournament this coming April. The CV baseball program will take a few weeks off into 2026 to gear up for another title run.
