The Lady Hawks continue to defend their WAC title with a fantastic start to the 25-26 season. CV shutout another opponent with a convincing 9-0 win over the Lathrop Spartans. CV wins came from (Singles): Aleena Higle, Harkiran Sandhu, Aaliyah Jauregui, Valerie Espinoza, Serath Birring, and Roxana Orozco; (Doubles): Genesis Velasquez Pedraza/Iyana Vidal, Valeria Sanchez Luna/Emily Carranza, and Samantha Sarabia/Natalia Campos. The Hawks are now 6-0 in WAC play and sit atop the standings in 1st place. CV will finish their first round of league play when they travel to Ceres High to take on the Bulldogs on Tuesday.
Esports
Central Valley has launched their first ever Esports team! The Hawks picked up their first win last night as they defeated McNair High School. CV was led by Kevin Gomez as the Hawks won 3-0 on Overwatch 2. Congrats to the Hawks on picking up the first Esports win in school history!
