On Tuesday, the Hawks continued their dominant run through the WAC as they shutout the Johansen Vikings by the score of 9-0. CV wins came from (Singles): Aleena Higle, Harkiran Sandhu, Aaliyah Jauregui, Valerie Espinoza, Serath Birring, and Roxana Orozco; (Doubles): Genesis Velasquez Pedraza/Ilyana Vidal, Valeria Sanchez Luna/Selena Cubillo, Emily Carranza/Natalia Campos. The Hawks will look to keep their unbeaten league streak alive today when they host the Lathrop Spartans.

Lathrop defeats Central Valley 3-0
The Lady Hawks took the trip up North to Lathrop High last night and fell to the first place Spartans in straight sets. CV will now prepare for the Crosstown Showdown vs. Ceres High which will be Monday, September 29th here at CV 4:30pm/5:30pm/6:30pm.

It wasn’t the Hawks night as the first place Spartans rolled to a shutout victory at Ceres High. CV is now 3-3 in league play which puts them in 5th place out of 8 teams. The Hawks will look to turn things around on Monday night when they travel to Ceres High to take on the Bulldogs. All 3 levels will be in action on Monday night as the Hawks will be the visiting team with Frosh 5:00pm/JV 6:00pm/VAR 7:00pm.
Water Polo
Girls: Johansen 22, Central Valley 8
Boys: Johansen 12, Central Valley 8
The Water Polo teams fell to the Johansen Vikings last night at the CV swimming pool. Both squads battled hard and continue to make progress and improve their play. The Hawks will look to get in the win column this coming Monday when CV hosts the Lathrop Spartans: Girls 4:00pm/Boys 5:00pm.
