GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS
Graduation requirements are set by the CUSD Board of Trustees. Five (5) units are awarded to students who earn a grade of A, B, C, or D in coursework. A diploma is granted to students who pass the minimum course requirements and successfully pass the California High School Exit Exam (CAHSEE).

TEST REQUIREMENT -- (CAHSEE)
Students must demonstrate competency in English Language Arts and Mathematics on California State approved tests. Failure to pass these tests will result in no high school diploma being issued.

If you qualify for free or reduced lunch, you can get your SAT and ACT fee’s paid for. You are only allowed one fee waiver per test. Please pick up the waivers from one of the Counseling Techs in the front office.

Scholarship Information

As we receive information on National, state, and local scholarships, it will be added to the Scholarship board in the front office, and be posted in Gov’t/Econ classes. Websites below are the best resources to start a Scholarship search!

Official Transcripts and Letters of Recommendation

  • If you would like a copy of your Official Transcript, or want it mailed to a specific destination, pick up a Transcript Request form in the front office.

 

  • If you would like your Learning Directors to write you a Letter of Recommendation, get a form in the front office and turn it in completed to the Counseling Techs. Your Letter of Recommendation will be ready no later than two weeks after you complete and return the required form.
