School Site Council:
Elected parents meet monthly with teachers, students, and administration to oversee the implementation of the School Site Plan and the spending of categorical budgets allocated to the school each year.
English Learner Advisory Committee/Family Engagement: Parents meet quarterly with an administrator, certificated and classified staff member to obtain information, assist and advise on increasing family participation and all matters related to District and school programs, specifically English Language Learners.
Parents for a Better Future:
A parent involvement program addressing different issues and topics that parents of teens will face. Bilingual meetings are held the 1st Wednesday of every month from 9-10am, and topics are selected by parents.
Band and Guard Boosters:
This parent support group works closely with Mr. Hinojosa and the students in the band and guard program. The group works to provide additional financial support and assists with projects.
Athletic Boosters:
This parent support group works to support all athletic programs at CVHS. Meetings are monthly in the evenings and all members are welcome. Students whose parents are active Booster members for 2 years are eligible to compete for a Booster Club scholarship during their senior year.
Parent Teacher Club:
PTC is open to all families of CVHS students. The primary purpose is to help coordinate Sober Grad Night for the Senior Class. Meetings are held every 3rd Wednesday at 6 p.m. on campus. We would love to have new members!
StarKeepers:
This parent support group meets monthly in the evening and works closely with Ms. Chamberlain and the students in the choral and theater arts program. The group works to provide additional financial support and assists with projects.
